Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013) Resetting the Service Light. Dear All, I have a 2010 Octavia II FL 1.4 TSI, upon which I've just done a DIY service for the first time. The car is on fixed service intervals. I'd like to reset the service light, but the procedure described in the owner's manual doesn't seem to work. 1. Faulty sensor. One of the most common reasons for the airbag light to turn on in Highlander is a faulty sensor. The airbag system relies on a network of sensors to detect a crash and deploy the airbags. If one of these sensors is damaged or malfunctioning, it can cause the airbag light to turn on.
I drive Skoda Octavia 2011 1.4 TSI Elegance edition. From some days, airbag warning light popped up in the dash board. Following info retrieved with the help of diagnostic tool:
All i have had are the same on fixed Servicing when resetting, Skoda, SEAT, VW and Audi. Same when resetting Service Interval fixed. Author. The warning says "Service Now" with no mention of Oil Change or Inspection. The last invoice says long-life oil but makes no mention of whether the service is fixed or variable.
As part of my stereo install (vRS tfsi), I had to take out the glove box. Didn't think anything of it as I had a mobile phone fitted last week and the fitter said he'd removed the glove box with no problems. I've done the same but now the airbag light is on the dash. (Yes I did remove the connect aotDSut.
